The aim of the program is to promote mutual friendship and understanding between Japanese youth and foreign youth, as well as to improve understanding of Japan, to cultivate a spirit of international cooperation, and to broaden the international viewpoints of Japanese youth.

They will participate in cross-cultural exchange activities, an international youth conference, discussion groups and homestay visits in Japan.

Participating youth must be Canadian citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. One Canadian leader will also be selected for each delegation.
